Wisdom helps us recognize what truly matters and choose what leads us closer to God and to loving service.

September 1894 - Voyage from Genoa to New York
The sea is a charming deep blue and reminds one of the Heaven of a soul in the possession of God, with a very peaceful heart, a celestial look. Such a soul is always made more beautiful by Jesus. It listens to His conversation, and loves it because it is purer and more precious than gold or silver; it listens to the precepts of its Beloved and feel they give it life and salvation, for such souls are fragrant with the sweet balm of grace and wisdom. —Mother Cabrini
Prayer:
Lord, quiet my heart and draw me into the deep peace of Your presence. Give me a listening soul, fragrant with Your grace and wisdom, so that I may recognize Your voice and follow where You lead.
Mother Cabrini, pray that I may trust His wisdom, even when I cannot see the shore.
